The Redmi Buds 6 Active in white are lightweight, semi-in-ear wireless earbuds that offer a quality audio experience via 14.2mm dynamic drivers, long battery life, and clear call quality, all in a compact and portable design.
Design & Comfort
- Color and Finish: The product is offered in a clean white color, including the compact, square charging case.
- Ergonomic Fit: They feature a semi-in-ear design and are very light, with each earbud weighing less than 4g, ensuring a comfortable fit for extended periods without strain.
- Durability: The earbuds have an IPX4 water-resistant rating, making them splash and sweatproof for use during exercise or in light rain. The charging case is not waterproof.
Audio Features- Sound Quality: Equipped with large 14.2mm dynamic drivers, fine-tuned by the Xiaomi Acoustic Laboratory, the earbuds deliver powerful bass response and clear sound.
- Customizable EQ: The user can choose from five different built-in EQ settings (accessible via the Xiaomi Earbuds app) to tailor the sound profile to their personal preference, such as “Enhanced bass” or “Boost volume”.
- Call Clarity: The earbuds utilize a dual-microphone setup combined with a DNN acoustic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) algorithm to effectively filter out ambient noise during calls, even cancelling wind noise up to 4m/s.
- Active Noise Cancellation: Note that while the product has ENC for calls, the Redmi Buds 6 Active do not support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for music playback or general noise reduction, unlike the standard Redmi Buds 6 or Buds 6 Pro models.
Connectivity & Battery- Connectivity: The earbuds use Bluetooth® 5.4 for a fast, stable, and low-latency connection, with an effective range of 10m in open space.
- Google Fast Pair: For Android users, the earbuds support Google Fast Pair, allowing for quick and effortless pairing by simply opening the case lid near an unlocked device.
- Battery Life: The earbuds provide up to 6 hours of listening time on a single charge. With the white charging case, the total battery life extends to an impressive 30 hours.
- Charging: Charging is done via a USB Type-C port. A quick 10-minute charge can provide 1 hour of playback time. The case does not support wireless charging.
